Second Wind Fund

  • About

Second Wind Fund exists to help youth at risk for suicide access professional counseling services by removing financial and social barriers.

Suicide is the leading cause of death for youth in Colorado. Recent data indicate that within one school year, 1 in 5 Colorado high school students (17%) reported seriously considering suicide. The Second Wind Fund believes that open, honest communication about the pervasiveness of suicide is critical to reducing its incidence.

If you know a youth at risk for suicide, it’s important to remember that treatment works and recovery is possible.

I am grateful to be part of the netwoek of licensed mental health care providers who provide support through Second Wind Fund.
